Next weekend is a very special time on the church calendar–Easter Weekend! We have a variety of opportunities to serve and share as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray for the events and find ways to serve in the body of Christ.

Thursday
Easter Prayer Vigil begins at 12:00 PM; please get your name on the sign-up sheet in the lobby. We need your help!

Friday
Good Friday Service – at the Burtts Corner Baptist Church at 10:00 AM; we will worship with the congregations from Cornerstone and BC Baptist.

Saturday
Annual Easter Egg Hunt – 2:00 – 4:00 PM; Annual Easter Egg Hunt is not just for kids.

Easter Sunday
8:00 AM – Sunrise Service
8:30 AM – Easter Morning Breakfast at the church
9:30 AM – Sunday School classes for Toddlers to Seniors
10:30 AM – Morning Worship (Join us as we celebrate Jesus)

Special Offering

On Easter Sunday, April 4, there will be a special offering for community outreach. We recognize that we still have much to do to reach the people in our community for Christ. May God help us to remain faithful to this task and may the Holy Spirit prompt us all to give generously towards the goal of $10,000.

Please Note

Today (Sunday Mar 28th, 2010) is the last chance to sign up to help at the next community outreach event, the Easter Egg Hunt. The afternoon is a lot of fun for people of all ages, so you don’t want to miss out. If you can’t be here that day, there are other way to help too. Thank you to the volunteers who have already committed to help on Sat Apr 3rd. For more information, see Celinda or any of the team leaders.

As you are spring cleaning, please consider donating your unwanted clothing, hats and accessories, linens, curtains and other household items to our collection of costumes and props. If we can’t use it, we will pass items along to charitable organizations that can.

Due to recent demands on our food pantry, we need to replenish our stock of non-perishable food. Please contribute as your are able; your generosity makes a real difference in our community and it is pleasing to God!
