What We Believe
Become A Member
We want to be a place where believers can be encouraged, grow in their faith, and have a variety of opportunities to serve using their God-given gifts. We also try to provide an environment where anyone who is not yet a Christian can get to know God, His word, and His people.
Membership in the local church is open to anyone who:
i) acknowledges Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord,
ii) respects the authority of God’s word and is committed to live according to its teaching, and
iii) has obeyed the scriptural teaching for believers to be baptized (immersed) into Christ.
The most important decision we can make in life is to become a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ; only He can save us! If you have done that, we encourage you to become a member of the local church — it’s a great place to grow!

Our Staff
Minister: Graham Crandall
In February 1988, Graham began his ministry with the Burtts Corner Church of Christ, the congregation in which he grew up. Born in Fredericton in 1961, he grew up in Burtts Corner an only child but his life was rich with extended family and many friends. Graham graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 1984 with a BBA in Finance and did his biblical studies at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is married to an “all-American girl,” Celinda, his wife since 1986. They have three children: Matthew, Christy, and Brandon, and a dog, Mandy. Graham enjoys time spent with family and friends, the outdoors, and Tim Horton’s coffee.
Associate Minister: Dan Foreman
Dan has been working with the Burtt’s Corner Church of Christ since the summer of 2002 but joined as a full time staff member in May 2006 shortly after graduating from Maritime Christian College. He is married to his wife Janelle and they currently reside in Fredericton. Dan’s involvement in ministry is quite varied at the church, including worship, Sunday school and small group bible study but primarily has a focus on youth. He is very excited to be leading in his home community and looks forward to seeing what God has in store for his kingdom in this area.
What We Believe
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God.
- We believe that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
- We believe that the eternal God exists in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent by the Father to be the Savior of mankind.
- We believe that God became flesh when Jesus was born to the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that everyone is created with worth but that everyone has sinned and fails to meet God’s standards of what is right.
- We believe in the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. He was without sin, but His death paid the penalty of sin for everyone who trusts in Him.
- We believe that salvation is the free gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ; only Jesus can save us.
- We believe that Jesus Christ will come back to earth to gather to Himself the saved and to condemn the unsaved.
- We believe in an eternal heaven (the future home of the saved) and an eternal hell (the future home of the lost).
- We believe the church is the body of Christ here on earth and is made up of Christians all around the world. It exists to glorify God by encouraging believers in their faith and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the lost.
