CHURCH SECRETARY
We are seeking your nominations for an individual to fulfill the role of Church Secretary. The church secretary must be a member in good standing with the Burtts Corner Church of Christ. She/he must seek to live a life that is a good example of the Christian faith to other believers and to the community as a whole.

The duties of the church secretary include:

• Keep Membership Book up-to-date. New members, baptisms, weddings, deaths, transfers in and out.
• Prepare Certificates of Transfer In/Out – notify churches, if requested by a new member.
•Copy and prepare the documents for the Annual Report of the church.
•Record the minutes at the Annual Meeting of the Congregation
•Attend and record minutes of special Congregational Meetings.

If you have someone you would like to be considered for this position, please submit that name, in writing, to one of our elders on or before, Sunday, May 30. Thank you!

-Next Sunday will be the last morning for Sunday School until September. Thanks to all who have taken the time from week to week to prepare lessons or to attend a class; your faithfulness is appreciated. Pray that God will provide people eager and equipped to teach God’s truth when Sunday School resumes in the fall. Who knows? He may call you!

Mark your calendars for the church picnic this summer! Please bring some yummies to share in a potluck picnic, as well as lawn chairs, games, and cutlery; hamburgers and hot dogs provided.

Faithful Attendance awards for Sunday School will be presented and our graduates honored. In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be held in the fellowship room, so save the date!
